Working Principle of Direct Engine Driven Truck Refrigeration System

Complete truck refrigeration system include condenser, evaporator, compressor, control panel, hoses, wires and installation kits. Condenser, evaporator, compressor and expansion valve is the most important four components, These four major components form a closed refrigeration system.

First of all, compressor is the power core of complete truck refrigeration system, refrigerant gas from evaporator is sucked by the compressor, after compression, gas become high temperature and high pressure refrigerant gas.

And then, high temperature and high pressure enters the condenser, due to outside temperature of condenser is lower than inside temperature of condenser, the refrigerant gas is cooled and heat is taken away by outside air. After passing through the condenser, original high temperature and high pressure gas is cooled to high temperature and high pressure liquid. Refrigerant gas enter into expansion valve, after expansion valve’s function of throttling and temperature reduction, refrigerant gas become low temperature and low pressure refrigerant liquid.

Finally, low temperature and low pressure refrigerant liquid enters the evaporator, which is much lower than the temperature in the box, refrigerant gas will absorb the heat in the box and evaporate in the evaporator, the heat that absorbed by evaporator is lower than the heat that air into the box, so temperature in box will low, finally cooling process of refrigeration truck box will be realized.

Simply says: it is the process of transferring heat from one space to another. For the refrigeration unit, it is the process in which heat is transferred from the refrigerated box to the air of outside the box. The refrigerant gas in the refrigeration units plays the role of a porter to transporting heat.
